The Center for Social Advocacy is a 501(c)(3) incorporated nonprofit organization founded in 1969 and we are one of San Diego’s oldest civil and human rights organizations. We have stood as advocates for fair housing and mediated tenant/landlord issues, and still do so today. Other issues the Center for Social Advocacy addresses include: hate crime prevention, civil rights of first generation immigrants, human trafficking, youth education, and voter education.
Center for Social Advocacy is becoming a national leader in human and civil rights advocacy through direct client services, field outreach, public education, regional, state and national policywork, and collaboration with organizations with similar missions.
Center for Social Advocacy prohibits discrimination in all its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, immigration status, age, disability, sex, marital status, parental status, religion, sexual orientation, genetic information, political beliefs, reprisal, or because all or part of an individual's income is derived from any public assistance program.
